9 months old

As promised, a baby update post. Miss Annabeth is now 9 months old and saw the doctor for a checkup today. We are still a skinny minnie at 15 lbs 8 oz, but middle of the road in height (27 and 3/4 inches), and head circ (17 1/2 in).
We did get 2 referrals for her today, one for an optomologist, her right eye has not been draining correctly since she was born, and one for a neurologist, because she is very slow in the gross development skills area, stil showing no signs of rolling over onto her stomach or even wanting to be mobile. She just started progressing toward sitting without support over the past few weeks. She can sit now for minutes at a time with out mommy there, but there has to be a pillow behind her as she kinda FLINGS herself back without warning
She is eating everything in sight , table foods are starting to be more common, and she can even feed herself with small finger foods. our first tooth just started in a couple of weeks ago and seened to offer no pain.
I also wanted to thank everyone for their kind comments while I was down, I am doing much better now, and can see how she fits into my life much clearly now.

She's just beautiful!
My little one, now 16 months old, took a long time to decide to sit without support. She would do that flinging backwards and basically just had no interest in it. She was right around 9 months old when she decided she was ready to sit without support...once she wanted to, she did with no problems. Actually, she was pulling herself up on the furniture before she was sitting without support!
Your little Annabeth may be the same way...she'll just do it when she's good and ready! :-)
YOu should see an osteopath for her eye who is not draining. Emma had this problem in her 2 eyes and almost had surgery. We went to an ostheopath twice and the problem was solved without surgery or even without a needle in her tear duct (which is done without anesthesia in babies)It's worth the price ;)
Some babies are slower to develope in some area and better in other. Some just need time or they are more the dreamer kind. At least, you will feel better after the appointment. One of my friend's baby had early childhood intervention for a short time and he's fine ;)
Yay! Glad you are feeling better. (Notice how I did that?)
I'm glad you are feeling better. Your baby is so beautiful. For the longest time Ayame didn't seem interested in moving. It seems like one day she just realized that she can move just like mommy and daddy and everything progressed really quickly.
I'm glad to see that you find time to stitch! :)
So adorable! She will do everything in her own time.
Thessalonia sure is lookin' purty!

What a smile! Oh, she's just getting cuter and cuter!
