Hellllllllooooooo 2009

We had a very quiet New Years. We visited some friends New Years Eve, but got home and were pooped out by 10. I think it is the first time in at least 10 years I did not see midnight, but I don't feel like I missed anything. We visited even more friends for New Years Day dinner, A western PA friend so it was pork and sauerkraut--a german thing I think. I think it is funny how different areas of the country have different things you should eat for luck. Here in the south it is black eyed peas.

Any way my resolution this year is to blog at least once a week all year.

Happy New Year! We ate black eyed peas (this is a first for me) but no sauerkraut. I'm glad we haven't wholly embraced PA! LOL.

We always have had black eyed peas. Guess that comes of having parents who grew up in Texas? We've introduced them to our friends in Rhode Island with whom we spend New Year's.

That's a great list you have for 2009. Can't wait to see lots of them listed in RED by the end of the year!

Happy New Year! I have no traditional New Year foods, but I love the idea.
